Ingredients

Pumpkin Mix

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¾ cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 eggs large

Brownie Mix

  • ¼ cup SACO Premium Cocoa
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F and prepare a 8 x 8 baking dish.
  • Whisk together all of the brownie mix ingredients and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together all of the pumpkin ingredients.
  • Spread half of the cocoa mixture into a thin layer at the bottom of the prepared pan. Drop half of the pumpkin mixture, by tablespoonfuls over the top of the brownie layer. Repeat the process until both batters are used up.
  • Use a toothpick or knife to swirl batter together until desired appearance is achieved. Be careful not to over combine, or the mixtures will start blending together.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
