Muffins
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 4 Tbsp SACO Cultured Buttermilk Blend
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 8 oz cream cheese cut into 12 even cubes
Streusel
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup pecans chopped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter

Muffins
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a large mixing bowl combine the first seven ingredients.
In a separate bowl beat the eggs; add water, oil and pumpkin.
Stir into dry ingredients until moistened.
Fill 12 greased muffin cups 2/3 full; place a square of cream cheese in the center of each cup.
Top with remaining batter.
Sprinkle with streusel.
Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until done.
Streusel
In a small bowl combine brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle over batter.
