Turtle Brownies

Ingredients
- ¼ cup SACO Premium Cocoa sifted
- ¾ cup all purpose flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 6 oz semisweet chocolate finely chopped
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

- caramel sauce
- Chopped pecans
- flaky Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F and line an 8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Set aside for later.
- In a double boiler or heat-proof bowl, place butter and chopped chocolate above a saucepan of simmering water. Melt until completely smooth.
- Remove chocolate mixture from heat and whisk in both sugars until smooth.
- Whisk in eggs and egg yolk one at a time, until combined, followed by the vanilla.
- Fold chocolate mixture into the flour mixture until combined, followed by ½ cup of chocolate chips.
- Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
- Lift brownies out of the pan using the parchment paper and arrange on a serving tray. Top with chocolate frosting, caramel sauce, chopped pecans, flaky salt, and more chocolate chips.
